Upgrade to the latest version of Business Plan Writer

Existing customers can upgrade their copy of Business Plan Writer to version 1.2.3.27 which is a Social Enterprise Edition.

This version was released on 26th of April 2010 and is available to customers of earlier versions (including The Tool Factory customers) free of charge*.

Please note that if you are not an existing customer and do not have a current registration key you will only be able to use the software for 3 days, after which time the application will become locked and you will need to buy a registration key (£40.00) to unlock it.

* = Customers from The Tool Factory will need to get in touch to get a new registration key (old keys from The Tool Factory will not work with current releases of Business Plan Writer).

Starting a business plan can be a daunting experience, so bear in mind the following points.

  1. Be very clear on what your business plan is for
  2. Make sure you know who will be reading it
  3. Don't be wooly - be specific, use evidence
  4. Nothing fancy, use simple, plain language
  5. Make it clear if something is confidential
  6. Do not 'pad out' your business plan
  7. Proof-read your business plan before releasing it
